Smart Heart Cards Junior Privacy Policy

Who the app is for

Smart Heart Cards Junior is a conversation card game for children of about 8 to 12, to play with family and friends. It is designed so that a child can use it without any personal information ever being asked for, stored or sent anywhere.

Data we do not collect

Smart Heart Cards Junior does not collect personal data. Specifically, the app:

• does not ask for or collect names, email addresses, ages, identifiers or location;
• does not create user accounts;
• does not use analytics;
• does not show advertising;
• does not use tracking;
• has no in-app purchases;
• does not ask for an App Store rating;
• uses no third-party SDKs;
• makes no network requests;
• sends no data off the device;
• does not use iCloud or CloudKit.

The answers to the questions are spoken out loud between the players. The app never records, types or stores them.

Data stored on the device

To remember its settings, the app stores only these preferences locally on the device, using Apple's standard UserDefaults storage:

• the selected language;
• the selected vibe;
• the selected round length;
• the IDs of questions already played;
• how many rounds have been finished;
• whether the intro has been seen;
• whether sound is switched on or off.

This data:

• stays only on the device;
• is not transmitted to us or to any third party;
• is removed when the app is deleted.

The played-question history can be reset at any time in the app's Settings, underPlayed cards → Reset played cards.

Links out of the app

The only links in the app are to this Privacy Policy and to the Support page, in Settings. Before either opens, the app asks a multiplication question that a grown-up answers easily and a young child cannot. A wrong answer opens nothing.

Permissions

Smart Heart Cards Junior requests no access to the camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location or notifications.

Sharing with third parties

Because no data is collected and nothing leaves the device, no data is shared with anyone.

Changes to this policy

If the privacy practices of Smart Heart Cards Junior materially change in a future version of the app, this policy will be updated and the effective date above will change.
